For lunch I went to Green Symphony with Andrew. I loaded up my plate with a potato samosa, some pesto chicken salad, roasted mushrooms and braised cauliflower. I treated myself to a pecan bar and washed it all down with Pellogrino water.

This is about a lifelong vegetarian who was raised macrobiotic learning to eat meat and working out. I am doing this in a way that is consonant with my upbringing, which also happens to be fashionable right now. For a large part of my childhood my parents grew most of our food and purchased the rest at a food coop. I am making this change now to support fitness goals that I don't believe can be supported by a vegetarian diet. More details will be added over the life of this blog.
