Monday Dinner February 23, 2009

Tonight I met Andy for barbecue. Originally the plan was to go to Texas Hill Country, but it was absolutely packed there. So we walked around the corner to Rub. Andy assured me that neither are stellar establishments, but that Texas Hill Country is a good experience and Rub was acceptable.

I got the brisket and baby back ribs with potato salad and greens. The greens were collards, spinach, and mustard all mixed together. I washed it down with some seltzer water.

Although I rarely do it, hanging out with Andy is great, as he doesn't drink. So it's easy to forgo the nearly-obligatory beer.
